Location: Merced National Wildlife Refuge, Merced County, CA

The Merced National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) is a federally managed 7,035-acre refuge in the San Joaquin Valley of central California. Merced NWR has native grasslands and wetlands that provide wintering habitat for the largest flock of Lesser Sandhill Cranes and Ross's geese in the Pacific Flyway.
